Offices

The Permanent Representation of Finland to the European Union is located at Avenue de Cortenbergh 80 in Brussels' EU quarter. The Justus Lipsius building (where the Council’s General Secretariat holds its meetings), the European Parliament and many important Commission buildings are within walking distance.

The nearest metro station is Schuman.

Residence and reception rooms

The residence of Ambassador Marja Rislakki is a property purchased by the Finnish state in the late 1980s. The property is built in 1962.

The residence is located to the east of Brussels, in the commune of Woluwé-Saint-Pierre.

It is a 15-30 minute drive from the residence to the Representation depending on the traffic. Access to the residence from a small lane is gained by way of a private drive.

The surroundings have a park-like feel, and the residence sports extensive, well-tended grounds.

The main building has rooms on two floors together with an attic floor and a basement. It has total floor space of 700 square metres.
